hey whats up, it's me ellie baker.  here is where i'm gonna tell you about how cool i am. 

kidding. 

am i though?

i am currently studying music business with an emphasis in live event management at belmont university in nashville, tn. i love it there. i go to cool shows, see music every day, and hang out with my friends at overpriced coffee shops. i say "there" because when i am not there, i am at home in indiana, which i also love for different reasons. i see my family every day, and i don't have to pay for parking everywhere i go. both of these places made me who i am, so they must be pretty cool.  

i am the oldest with two siblings, i'm a taurus, and a ravenclaw (if you're in to that sort of thing).

i have to say, music is one of the most important things in my life. not to be dramatic but i would probably like die without it. my family is not musically inclined, like one bit. except for maybe my little sister (she can play guitar and stuff). but that doesn't mean i wasn't raised on music. i spent a good 18 years of my life in a dance studio where silence just didn't exist. music was playing all the time, and i loved it. so thank god for spotify now, i'd be lost without her. 

i love to listen to music, discover new music, and talk about music. i think i am living my radio rebel/almost famous dreams through this. i'm not an anonymous voice on the radio, and i'm definitely not a writer for the rolling stone, but i've always gotten good grades in english, so i think i can spit out a word or two. and hey, writing it down is better than recording videos of myself for a private snapchat story with my friends who were kind enough to pretend to care.

i'm glad you're here. i hope you stick around. i think this is gonna be pretty fun. but now that you know me, lets get to the good stuff.
